Privacy Policy

Information we collect

• Contact and order details you give us: your name, email address, phone number, pickup location or delivery address, the items you order, and any notes you add.
• Account details, if you create an account: your name, email address and password, or, if you sign in with Google, the name and email address on your Google account. We keep your order history with your account.
• Rewards, if you have an account: the Crumbs and stamps you earn on your orders, and the rewards you’ve unlocked or used.
• Payment information is entered directly into Square, our payment processor. We never see or store your full card number.
• Subscription choices: whether you’ve opted into our newsletter, menu or back-in-stock reminders, or order update texts.
• How you found us: campaign tags in the link you followed (for example, from Instagram), and basic, cookie-free usage and performance measurements of our site. When you’re signed in, we may link activity such as placing an order to your account, but never your name, email, phone number or address. To try out changes to the site, your browser keeps a random ID in its local storage, so we can show you one version consistently and see which version works better, for example whether more orders are placed with it. That ID isn’t linked to your name, email, phone number or address, and clearing your browser’s site data removes it.

How we use it

• To take, prepare, and deliver or hand over your order, and to process your payment.
• To send you receipts and order status updates by email, and by text if you opted in.
• To send the newsletters and reminders you signed up for.
• To answer your questions and provide customer support.
• To understand how our site and promotions are working, and to keep the site secure.

Text messages

If you check the box at checkout to receive order updates by text, we use your mobile number only to send you messages about that order. Message frequency varies, about 3–6 messages per order. Message and data rates may apply. Reply STOP to opt out at any time, or HELP for help. See our Terms for the full text message terms.

If you check the box on our newsletter signup to get texts about new bakes, drops and offers, we text your mobile number a link to confirm it, and only send those texts once you’ve used it. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties, except the messaging providers that deliver our texts on our behalf.

Who we share it with

We do not sell your personal information, or share it for targeted or cross-context behavioral advertising. We share it only with service providers who help us run the bakery, and only as needed for them to do so:

• Square, our payment processor, to process payments.
• Email and text messaging providers, to send our emails and texts.
• Account and database providers, to manage sign-in and store our records.
• Google, if you choose to sign in with your Google account.
• A mapping provider, to check delivery addresses and plan delivery routes.
• Hosting and storage providers, to run this website.
• Analytics and monitoring providers, to measure how our site is used and keep it running smoothly.

We may also disclose information when required by law, or to protect our rights or safety.

How long we keep it

We keep order records for as long as we need them for our business, tax and accounting records. We keep subscription details until you unsubscribe, and you can ask us to delete your information at any time (see below).

Your choices and rights

• Unsubscribe from emails with the link at the bottom of any newsletter.
• Stop text messages by replying STOP.
• Ask to access, correct, or delete the personal information we have about you by emailing lepartagesourdough@gmail.com. See also Your Privacy Choices.

Security

We use reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of transmission or storage is completely secure.

Children

Our site isn’t directed to children under 13, and we don’t knowingly collect their information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. When we do, we’ll change the effective date above.
